Dumas
Central Industries continues to welcome guests from
all facets for tours of our world headquarters in
Fraser and recently received a special visit in
April from former Detroit City Council President
and former mayoral candidate Gil Hill.
Hill,
now the President of Gil Hill & Associates consulting
firm, was in Fraser in preparation of a sales trip
with DCI and strategic partners Dumas Concepts In
Building and SMI MBE, Inc. to promote the capabilities
of these teams to several different companies in
Las Vegas, Nevada.
Most
of the trip was geared towards the future development
of the permanent casinos in Detroit and took place
in early May. Gil Hill was asked to participate
in this effort since he is still very active with
the new administration in Detroit as well as his
relationships he has developed with the local trades
and unions.
The
presentations went well and DCI and our strategic
partners are very excited about this opportunity
to work with Gil Hill, anticipating a very positive
business relationship to develop over time.
 Many
of you movie buffs may also recognize Gil Hill as
the gritty police chief in the Beverly Hills
Cop trilogy that featured Eddie Murphy as Axel
Foley in the eighties.
